As an energy provider, lekker delivers electricity and gas to private households as well as industrial and business customers. bytepark has supported lekker Energie GmbH for more than five years in a variety of projects and has now implemented the native iOS app, “lekker partner” as its newest product.
The Challenge
lekker’s numerous sales partners were using a paper order form to record energy orders. These then had to be laboriously digitised. In addition, there was no statement to indicate that the product being ordered was actually available. The goal of the project was to simplify order entry with a native app while also making comparison with their basic provider possible and creating the customers’ new contract.
By using the iOS app “lekker partner”, an order for electricity or gas from either a private person or a business customer can be recorded within a few minutes and transmitted to a central system. In addition, the app has at its command presentations on product or company that provide additional information.
So that filling out the online form can be accomplished in locations or in rooms with fluctuating UMTS signals, the app offers a special offline mode that is activated automatically with loss of connection. The data synchronise as soon as the connection is available again.
